Chinese Green Tea Map

One story goes that prince Li Dan of Tang Dynasty married a country girl during his demotion. After succeeded to the throne, he sent a royal boat to meet his wife, the empress. On the way back to capital city, the boat had a stop at Rocky Bank, where she was offered fresh-brewed local green tea. Fascinated by its mellowness, she brought the tea to the royal court. So pleased by the taste of the tea that the emperor appointed some officials in charge of its harvest and transportation.

Rocky Bank Mountain is an offshoot of Wuling Mountain, which is the home of famous Zhang Jia Jie, the first Chinese national forest.
