Green Tea 2003

Green Tea is a 2003 Chinese movie. Lang Lang was a beautiful girl making a living by working at a night club, where she entertained her customers with a guitar. Wu Fang, a marriage-seeking female graduate student, used to ordered a glass of green tea at match-making arrangements. She had blind faith in her girl friend Lang Lang's advice that “Green tea tells your fortune. It betokens your love. One's fate is very like the up-and-down tea-leaves in a glass.” Chen Ming-Liang, Wu Fang's date and Lang Lang's customer, knew nothing about tea; however, he thought he knew girls. He categorized girls into two types - forest type and Roman type, holding that the forest type always has unknown path while the Roman type is a maze. Dating Wu Fang soon made him realize that the person who actually influenced his love-adventure was Lang Lang. Lost in maze, he felt that Wu and he were two tea leaves in a glass and Lang were the brewing water - where they would go and where they would end up was decided by water.
